I am an Assistant Systems Administrator and am currently working on automating KENET's monitoring services and server administration. This important to Kenya as it will make network management easier to carry out as the user base becomes bigger. Networking software is Cisco IOS that runs in our Routers. We are connected to the internet via fibre optic with a maximum capacity of 750 Mbps. Kenya's connectivity is around 5 Gbps.
